Janmashtami
After getting time in India, such great men, karma yogis and moralists were born that on the strength of their relentless hard work, character firmness, dyes and protective actions, they acquired the importance of an incarnation. The manifestation (incarnation) of some other people was to destroy the injustice-atrocities and protect the life-sat elements and gentlemen of the society from the unjust-atrocities. Lord Krishna is considered to be one such incarnation. He has been accepted as one of the twenty-four incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The day of his appearance is celebrated every year with great pomp and enthusiasm.
Janmashtami is associated with the entire Hindu society. In Hindu society, because thirty three crore deities and twenty-four incarnations are recognized, therefore those Vaishnavites celebrate this festival with great fervor and pomp that consider themselves to be associated with Krishna Bhakti branch or Krishnapasana. Shri Krishna was the eighth son of Vasudeva-Devaki, a prominent feudal lord who came under the kingdom of Mathura. Hearing a voice from Akash that the child born from the womb of Vasudeva-Devaki would be the cause of the death of the tyrannical and ruthless prince Kas, the frightened Kas imprisoned his sister Devaki and brother-in-law Vasudev in a prison cell.
Kansa killed the seven children who were born there; But with the help of well-wisher feudalists, Vasudev took his eighth child to his best friend Nanda in Nadgram located in Brajbhoomi. At the same time, Shri Krishna grew up in the lap of Nanda-Yashoda and later reached Mathura and killed Kansa and also became the reason for the liberation of his parents and maternal grandfather Ugrasen from prison. Later, Lord Krishna, becoming the architect of the war of Mahabharata, gave the knowledge of Karmayoga of 'Amid Bhagavad Gita' to his friend Arjuna, this is a different story. This Lord Srikrihya was born at midnight on the Ashtami date of Krishna X of the native month Bhadrapada.
Therefore, the holy festival of Janmarashtamui is celebrated in Hindu society all over India to pay homage to his sanctity, his actions, established ideals, etc. It is recognized for its special importance, both spiritual and cultural. People of religious-spiritual tendencies worship and worship Lord Sri Krishna with a sakhi or sakhi bhav for their salvation and to remain the eternal fire of the pastimes of Lord Krishna.
For this, they adorn the idols of Radha-Krishna, offer them fifty-six types of bhog and perform bhajan-kirtan, dance-singing in front of them. From the cultural point of view, the devotees not only read and read the Gita which was discoursed by Shri Krishna from his mouth, but also listen to the discourses and interpretations from the mouths of the scholars. To celebrate the festival of Janmashtami, believers start preparations long in advance.. In Sri Krishna temples, this preparation is done specially.
Even in the streets and neighborhoods, young people and children start making and decorating tableaux by collecting donations from each other and from here and there. The tableaux are made and decorated by both inlay sculptures and living persons. Swings are made. In them, little children are decorated and swing like child Krishna. Even before the day of Janmashtami, crowds gather to see specially decorated tableaux at special places. Exactly on the day of Janmashtami, as soon as the evening falls, huge crowds of people come to visit the streets and temples etc. Sometimes even controlling it becomes a problem.
People full of religious instinct and devotion also observe fast on the day of Janmashtami. Staying away from eating and drinking throughout the day, they are absorbed in the holy hymns and worship of Shri Krishna. After midnight, around twelve o'clock in the night, according to the traditional belief, when Balakrishna is believed to have been born, then they end their fast by making a jhoola of Shri Krishna in a swing, eating some fruit. Then the devotees happily distribute prasad among the people while cheering Shri Krishna.
The prasad distributed on this occasion is often of the same type as is fed to mothers who give birth to a child immediately . In this way, the festival of Janmashtami comes every year, we are reminded of the child form of Shri Krishna, who gives the message of loving melodious devotion, we are also reminded of Yogiraj Krishna, who rendered the importance of hard work and selfless action to get our rightful right. .
