Today there are many such areas where girls have succeeded by overtaking boys.
Educated girl child has made a positive impact on Indian society by contributing in professional fields like medicine, defense services, science and technology. Today's girls have also contributed well in the field of business . Today better economy and better society is the result of girls' education.
Wrong Mentality About Girls Education
There are some people who oppose girl child education, they believe that teaching girls is a waste of money . This view is wrong because education of girls can change the society. People have to understand that boys and girls are the same. People think that girls were sent to Earth just to cook, do household chores and give birth to children. Girls are exploited and ignored due to the thinking that they are confined to household chores.
Things have become so bad that some girls are being killed in the mother's womb before birth. Even in today's modern era, people commit sins like female feticide in the desire of boys. The basic problem for this is that a lot of importance is given to getting married in India. People in India think that the last abode of a girl is her husband's house and her fate should be confined to the four walls of the house. Most of the illiterate people think that less than the education of girls is spent in their marriage, so it is right to get married. Most of the girls get married soon after getting rid of their dream because of this.
One person cannot be blamed for this as this entire society is responsible for the fate of girls. Even today boys are given high status in the society and girls are given more facilities to move ahead than boys. People fail to realize that educating a girl is as important as educating a boy. Whenever a girl has got a chance to prove her potential, she has always proved herself.
Although now the days are getting better, because the people of India have understood the fact, that without the development and progress of girls, the development of the country is not possible. It is true that in equal extension to both the sexes, the country will be encouraged to achieve economic and social development in every sphere.

Education is an essential part of living life, be it boy or girl. Education helps a person to learn new things with new skills and to know about the facts of the world. Education plays an important role in protecting the rights of the girl child.It also helps in preventing discrimination on the basis of gender. Education is the first step for girls to choose their rights.Education helps girls to be more intelligent in their work. An educated girl possesses skills, talents and self-confidence.
Women constitute almost half of our population, boys and girls are like two sides of the coin and they need equal opportunities to contribute to the development of the country. Both cannot survive without each other.
Differences Between Educated and Uneducated Girls
If we see the difference between the two, we will find that an educated girl not serve her country. She can contribute to the success and advancement of her country as a teacher, engineer, nurse, doctor, administrator, soldier, policeman, correspondent, athlete etc. On the other hand, an uneducated woman cannot be employed in every field like an educated girl.
If girls are also given all facilities and motivation like boys then they can reach the height of every success that a boy can do.
Importance of Girl Education
Our country can get many benefits from the education of girls. An educated and intelligent girl child can play an important role in the development of the country. An educated girl can lighten the work and burden of boys in various fields.If a girl wants, she can serve our country as a writer, teacher, lawyer, engineer, doctor , scientist, etc . Apart from this, she can perform very well in other important areas as well.
Educated women are able to shape their future. She is able to reduce poverty due to work and being financially strong. Because of their education, the risk of child mortality is also low. Educated girls are less likely to be exposed to HIV/AIDS. They are less likely to be victims of domestic or sexual violence. Today educated girls have reduced corruption and changed the conditions which lead to terrorism.
Educated women have proved to be better able to contribute to the family income. She is healthy in mind and has a lot of self esteem and confidence. Plus she helps contribute and enrich her community. Educated women have the ability to promote education in others.There were some social reformers like Ishwarchandra Vidyasagar and Raja Rammohan Roy, who did some commendable work regarding girl's education, they also worked for the education and development of girls under the rule of British government. Both girls and boys are two sides of the same coin, so according to this both girls and boys are equally entitled in the development of this country.We cannot even imagine the society without girls .

Girls should be given equal opportunities like boys for girl's education and they should not be denied any development opportunity. A proper awareness program is essential for the progress and importance of the level of education for women across the country, especially in rural areas. A knowledgeable girl can educate the whole country with her education.

These famous girls include Meera Bai, Mother Theresa, Kalpana Chawala, Lakshmi Bai , etc . In today's time, all the great and historical women of India are a source of inspiration. We can never ignore their contributions to the society and the country.
