INDEPENDENCE DAY SPEECH (2021)

Good morning, all honored guests, deserving principals, respected teachers, and fellow students, wishing you all a very Happy Independence Day. Honorable All, As you know we all have gathered here to celebrate the 74th 
Independence Day of India. The day 1947 began a new chapter in the history of the entire subcontinent. We got freedom from foreign ruling. But, this day, as you know, has a lot of history behind it. There are countless struggles, priceless sacrifices and efforts of our great leaders. Due to this, India is a powerful, strong and independent country of the world.


 There can never be charity in freedom. This is not a free gift. We salute the warriors, leaders and our freedom fighters who did a remarkable job of gifting us a free and beloved country. History is full of evidence of the struggles and sacrifices of our leaders like Mahatma Gandhi , Pandit Nehru Lal, Subash Chandra Bose and hundreds of other freedom lovers. Mahatma Gandhi was a proponent of peace and non-violence. He led the freedom struggle at a very crucial time. He faced difficulties and suffered at the hands of the British but he never gave up. It was his charming personality that got millions of Indian people behind him under his banner. He is one of the greatest leaders of the world. Dear friends, Our beloved country India has every beautiful thing in this world. We have a strong agriculture and water system. Our armed forces are very brave and bold. They never hesitate to sacrifice their lives for this land, our economy is very strong. We are a very respected and nuclear power country. Our youth are leading the world in technology, engineering and medicine. We are the largest democracy in the world with free and happy people. In fact, we have everything in this dear land.


As we all  know this day comes every year to remind this country of our promises. It is indeed, we have got freedom from foreign formulations but there is still a lot to be done. We have to fight against all social and economic issues at present. We have to fight poverty, illiteracy, youth unemployment ,etc. We have to stand against ignorance and spread education to every corner of our country. We have a huge responsibility on our shoulders. We have to work day and night for the progress and welfare of our country. Soon, the day is not far when we will be the most powerful country in the world.

Start with gathering the basic ingredients and the spices you want to add to your chai. Heat up about 1 ⅓ cup of water in a pot on medium-high heat. (This is for 2 cups of chai) While water is heating, crush spices using a mortar and pestle or a coffee/spice grinder. Add the crushed spices to the water.
